It’s the Lady’s birthday, but we’re laying low… we celebrated with the kids and our friends on Sunday, plus,  Tuesday’s are tough to get up for…  Instead of partying, I grabbed a quick shot of this shell we found on the beach last month.

The light hit it just right to light up the front while keeping the background in deep shadow.  I went black and white to accentuate the texture and the lines.

This was with the Canon 50mm STM on the 50D
