February 24, 2017
Finally Friday. Longest short week ever…you pick the cliche.
70 degrees in February is not normal. It feels great, but it’s not normal. It looks like this might be the last, best weather day for a while before we cool back down and winter reminds us that it’s not over. The sky on the drive home looked crisp with a great golden glow from the low sun – sparse clouds broke up the expanse.
As soon as I pulled into the driveway, I jumped out of the car with my camera and grabbed a few photos of the sky, the clouds, and the geese making their way back north. I think I would have liked the warmth and smoothness of the Pentax, but because it has a limited focal range, I wouldn’t have been able to capture the birds as crisply, so the Canon 50mm stayed on the camera.
