Today was taxing.  Attending to international student concerns and well-being following a weekend in which an ambiguous Presidential order on immigration created so many issues and questions… An afterwork meeting added to the day’s length and I arrived home close to 8:00.

I wanted to get at least one image for the day and this lantern with it’s star seemed apropos.  Aside from the symbolism, I was attracted to this particular object for it’s mix of rusticism and geometry.  Closeup seemed the way to go.
